The third round of the MotoE World Championship concluded on the challenging German track.
After a spectacular podium finish at the Italian Grand Prix, Kevin Manfredi from La Spezia had high expectations.
However, he was aware that on a completely unfamiliar circuit, with limited opportunities for free practice and qualifying, he would face difficulties. Nevertheless, the number of points collected and the significant progress made in the second race were important, bringing him closer to the top contenders.
Kevin commented, "It definitely wasn't the weekend we hoped for; we struggled, and we were not at 100% from the start.
The issue with this category is that starting from the back makes it nearly impossible to recover.
We have what it takes to compete with the best, and it will be crucial to step up our game in Assen and consistently stay ahead, just like we demonstrated in the first two rounds of the championship.
Despite everything, we managed to score points in both races without making any mistakes, which will be important for the final standings."
Kevin Manfredi returns home from Sachsenring with valuable experiences that will be beneficial for the remainder of the season.
After a few days of rest, they will immediately resume for the Dutch Grand Prix at Assen, marking the halfway point of the MotoE World Championship.
This exciting event will take place at the Cathedral of Speed before the summer break in July.
Kevin would like to express his gratitude to all the sponsors and technical partners for their support during the 2023 season.
