KEVIN PROTAGONIST AT THE 8 HOURS OF SPA: PODIUM NARROWLY MISSED

The second round of the FIM Endurance World Championship took place on the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium with the spectacular 8 Hours of Spa.

A total of 53 teams took part in a race full of emotions and twists, made even more unpredictable by the unstable weather: sun, rain and mixed conditions put men and vehicles to the test.

Among the absolute protagonists was Kevin Manfredi, representative of the Honda Dafy Rac41 Team, author of a masterly performance. With three hours to go, thanks to an extraordinary double stint, Kevin had brought the number 41 CBR1000 back to third place in the Superstock category.

Every stint of his in the race was impeccable, as was qualifying, where he was the fastest rider in the team.

Kevin: “I wanted another podium, like in Le Mans. Here too I felt good, fast, motivated and determined. Unfortunately, a technical problem took away all our chances just when we were third, with three hours to go.

It's a real shame: we could have brought home key points for the world championship. We are still in the running for the Top 3 in the standings, but returning home with a trophy would have been more rewarding.

Endurance races are like this: exciting, unpredictable, unique.”

Despite the disappointment, Kevin's performance was once again of the highest level. Now the Ligurian driver is preparing to fly to Japan for tests on the historic Suzuka Circuit, where he will face, together with Team Honda Dafy Rac41, the next round of the FIM EWC: the Suzuka 8 Hours.

For Kevin it will be the second participation in the legendary Japanese race, now in its 46th edition of the Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours, where he will be on track again together with MotoGP riders and official teams in one of the most anticipated races of the 2025 season.

Kevin thanks all the sponsors and technical partners for their precious support in the 2025 season.
