Kevin Manfredi, 2025 Superstock Endurance World Championship runner-up, faces the 2026 season with significant changes. The La Spezia-born rider, fresh from his renewal with Team RAC41 and Honda for the World Endurance Championship, has received the green light to compete with a new brand in the 2026 Italian Superbike Championship.
For the last four seasons of the national championship, Manfredi has represented Penta Motorsport, first on a Suzuki and then on a Honda. With the team led by Goretti, he achieved Suzuki's last podium in the CIV Superbike championship and, after switching to Honda, he also managed to return to the podium at Imola last September. These results confirm his ability to quickly adapt to different bikes and technical projects.
After four seasons together, 2026 therefore marks a significant change of direction for the thirty-year-old La Spezia-born rider.
Kevin: “I would like to thank the entire Penta Motorsport Team, which has been like a family over the past four years. Last season, we struggled a bit due to some teething problems with the new bike, but we still achieved some significant success, such as the podium at Imola. However, we made a decision based on several factors, including the clash between Endurance and CIV: Penta was looking for a rider available for the entire season, while I wanted to prioritize the World Championship. Furthermore, sometimes I think it's right to close a chapter and start from scratch. For 2026, I've decided to join Andrea Tomio's Atomico Racing Team, riding the Ducati V4. It will be a new challenge, with a different bike and a young, rapidly growing team. I'm happy to be part of this project and will use all my experience to achieve the best possible results.”
Kevin Manfredi and the Atomico Racing Team will therefore be at the start of the 2026 CIV Superbike championship aboard the Ducati V4, in collaboration with Ducati Varese. The season will also feature a major update to the technical regulations, while maintaining the standards of the Production Bike category unchanged.
Kevin will be attending the following Italian Speed Championship dates:
April 25-26 (Misano);
May 9-10 (Mugello);
July 25-26 (Misano Racing Night);
October 10-11 (Vallelunga)
Kevin Manfredi thanks all the sponsors and technical partners for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
