KEVIN MANFREDI ON THE PODIUM OF THE 2025 24 HEURES MOTOS

The 48th edition of the historic 24 Heures Motos, an Endurance motorcycle race that opens the FIM Endurance World Championship every year, took place on the legendary Bugatti circuit in Le Mans.

A total of 53 teams at the start, over 160 riders on the track for a challenge full of emotions and twists. This year, what made everything even more unpredictable was the weather: rain, sun and mixed conditions that formed the backdrop to a very tough race, culminating in a record number of falls, 202 in total.

Kevin Manfredi, representative of the Honda Dafy Rac41 Team, was one of the great protagonists of the race. Impeccable throughout the race, he never made any mistakes, driving for over 10 hours and bringing the team to the top of the Stock standings already in the third hour. But it didn't end there...

Kevin: "I wanted this podium, I knew it was possible with Rac41 and I believed in it until the end, even when, with 34 minutes to go, the chain broke a few kilometers from the pit lane.

In my head I thought: "Either I try, or I give up!".

But after 23 hours and 26 minutes of racing, giving up was not an option.

So I pushed the bike to the entrance of the pit lane. The fatigue was immense, my body was exhausted, but the adrenaline made me feel invincible.

The broom wagon picked me up and took me to the parc fermé, where my mechanics were waiting for me. The FIM Europe technicians checked the bike for safety, then rushed again, pushing, towards the garage.

The Rac41 team fixed the bike in a few minutes. We returned to the track with another two laps advantage over our pursuers, and we finished second in this hellish and endless 24 Heures Motos 2025.

I won’t deny it: I feared the worst. The memory of the Bol d’Or 2023, when I lost the podium 15 minutes from the end due to a mechanical problem, was still alive.

I cried in my helmet while I was pushing, watching the bikes pass by, counting the laps, doing the math in my head. Those minutes seemed like hours. But in the end, everything went as it was supposed to.

This is the beauty (and the madness) of the Endurance World Championship.”

An incredible performance by Kevin Manfredi and the entire Honda Dafy Rac41 Team, capable of managing every situation, even the most difficult ones, like in the night between rain and dry, with slick tires and the adrenaline that can play bad tricks.

Kevin thus returns to the podium of the Endurance World Championship with Honda colors, right at Le Mans, where he was last in 2019.

He is currently second in the world championship standings, just 10 points behind the leader: a more than positive sign in view of the next stage, on the Belgian circuit of Spa-Francorchamps.

Kevin thanks all the sponsors and technical partners for their support in the 2025 season.
