The final round of the 2025 FIM Endurance World Championship took place, as per tradition, at the Circuit Paul Ricard in southern France, with the 88th edition of the legendary 24 Hours of Bol d'Or. A historic and iconic race, full of adrenaline and tension, where nothing was ever decided until the last second.
Kevin Manfredi, aboard the Honda of the RAC41 Dafy, took to the track after his victory at Le Mans and the near-podium finish at Suzuka, aiming to finish the season in the top three of the Superstock World Championship. Alongside Kevin and the RAC41 team, Andreani Group, a leading company in the Öhlins suspension sector, was also present this weekend.
After a first qualifying session on Thursday, where he finished third in the red group, the La Spezia native had to miss the night practice sessions due to a severe flu. He returned to the track on Friday, not yet at 100% fitness, but still fast and determined, finishing the second qualifying session in second place with a time of 1'53.8, among the top four Stock drivers on track.
Kevin: “After free practice on Tuesday, together with Team Rac41 and Andreani, we immediately found a good base setup. In qualifying, we focused on perfecting everything, finding the right mix of speed and consistency. This, combined with the impeccable preparation of our Honda CBR, allowed us to face a perfect race. I completed about 10 stints: the team entrusted me with a great responsibility and I'm proud to have maintained a high pace without making mistakes. Team Manager Julien, together with Lucie, constantly updated the tactics and coordinated the mechanics as best as possible. Only a forced stop & go dropped us from 8th place during the night after being 3rd, but in the morning we recovered ground. With three hours to go, we were back in third in the class and seventh overall: it seemed over, but a final push relaunched us. In my last stint, an hour and a half from the checkered flag, I caught and overtook our direct rivals from National Motos, distancing them by about 100 yards. 40 seconds. This allowed us to secure second place in Superstock, fourth overall out of 53 teams, and above all, the title of Endurance Superstock World Runner-up. It's a goal I've been chasing for years, after the two European titles in 2020 and 2021 and the podiums in MotoE. Finishing in the top three of the championship, after so many sacrifices and difficult moments, was my goal. Now being so close to the top of the world gives me even more energy to try and conquer it next season. A huge thank you to all my sponsors, the Rac41 team, Honda France, Andreani Group, and my girlfriend, who has always supported me through the toughest times.”
Kevin Manfredi is thus the new Endurance Superstock World Championship runner-up alongside Rac41 Dafy Honda, as well as the only Italian rider to stand on the 2025 FIM EWC world championship podium.
With his second place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and second place at the Bol d'Or, podiums that add to the one he earned at Imola in the CIV SBK and the double third place at Rijeka in the European Bagger Championship, Manfredi now looks with even greater motivation to the final two rounds of the season: the CIV SBK at Mugello and the BRLE at Jerez.
Kevin thanks all the sponsors and technical partners of the 2025 season.
