KEVIN MANFREDI IN TOP8 IN CIV SBK

Misano Adriatico was the stage for Round 4 of the Italian Speed Championship, with the “Racing Night” show, with endurance-style practice sessions and night races.

At the Misano World Circuit Kevin Manfredi took to the track again on the Penta Motorsport Team GSXR1000 Superbike, giving his all in every round and thus conquering the 8th position in the overall Championship standings, with two races less than his rivals.

A difficult weekend given the high level of the Championship, which saw the Spezzino and the Bolognese Team fight once again against official manufacturers and supported teams, and as always demonstrate commitment and determination in the project and in the search for the result.

Kevin Manfredi: “We knew right away that Misano would not be an easy weekend, the track with many starts is not perfect for Suzuki but we were still able to find a good setup and make the most of the chassis of our GSXR, improving the session afterward shift.

After this weekend we have new data in order to further improve the bike in view of the next races, and fill the limits found on this track.

I am very satisfied with the commitment made by the Team and all the technical staff that allowed me to earn points and positions in the Championship standings. "

Kevin Manfredi once again brings Suzuki and Team Penta Motorsport to the Top10 with two good races, all of them recovering due to some electronic problems that appeared in the first laps of both races.

With 11th place in race 1, and 10th place in race 2 close to the factory Aprilia, Kevin thus earns 8th place in the Championship standings just a few points from the Top 6, results that had been lacking for years for the Team and for the bike in this Championship.

Now the Spezzino will have a two-week break in which to better prepare for the MotoE weekend in Austria at the Redbull Ring.

Kevin thanks all the sponsors and technical partners of the 2022 season.
