KEVIN MANFREDI FROM TOP10 AT THE SAN MARINO GP

The FIM ENEL MotoE World Cup closes with the San Marino GP, which saw the Spezzino Kevin Manfredi, in his first year in MotoE, once again in the Top10 very close to the Top5.

A weekend of growth for Kevin who has adapted better and better, since the first tests on Friday, to the Energica Ego Corsa bike of the Octo Pramac Racing, fighting for the leadership in Qualifying 1 and finishing in 4th position.

With the sum of the times of the two qualifications, the Spezzino starts from 12th place and conquers the 8th place in race 1 in full battle for the fifth position, with times very similar to the riders who got on the podium and 11th in race 2 , thus closing his first MotoE season in 12th place in the Championship standings just 7 points behind the 2021 World Champion Jordi Torres and also confirming himself as the second best rookie.

Kevin Manfredi: ”Another weekend in growth and above all exciting because racing in front of the home crowd puts even more energy.

I am satisfied with the progress made during this weekend, in race 1 I would have liked to get 5th place but I was not at 100% to do so but it was important to keep that pace and gain more experience.

In the future we have to improve qualifying to start later, this would allow me to play better in the early stages of the race, which are then crucial to determining the final result.

I can't wait to work and define the 2023 programs to aspire to new goals. "

Kevin still confirms his speed and his adaptation to new bikes and conditions, confirming himself 2nd in the Rookie of the year ranking.

While waiting to discover future plans in the World Championship, he will now have to concentrate on a new and great challenge, the 24 Hours of Bol d'Or 2022 on the Yamaha of the Wojcik Racing Team.

Kevin thanks all of Octo Pramac Racing for the opportunity given to him, his sponsors and technical partners of the 2022 season.
