KEVIN CONTINUES TO FIGHT IN THE GERMAN GP

The sixth round of the 2024 MotoE World Championship took place at the Sachsenring circuit, Germany.

Kevin Manfredi, the native of La Spezia known for his determination, once again faced a complex challenge.

In a sport that often puts only the driver in the spotlight, it is essential to carefully evaluate every detail.

Despite the difficulties, Manfredi continues to work hard on and off the track, remaining focused on improving performance.

However, without perfect alignment between all elements, it becomes difficult for a single driver to lead the entire team.

2023 saw Kevin competitive and consistently at the top, with several podiums and top 5 finishes.

This year, however, confidence in the setup of his Ducati V21L seems to be lacking, thus affecting his performance.

Even on the Sachsenring circuit, in pursuit of the Best Lap in qualifying, he was the victim of a bad fall at over 150km/h which relegated him to 16th starting position.

It is the third crash in MotoE since the beginning of the season for the Spezzino, compared to last year which only had one until the end of the championship.

In Race 1, a good start allowed him to recover positions quickly, but a red flag shortened the race, forcing him to finish 15th.

In the second race, the rain, usually an advantage for the "rain man" Spezzino, did not bring the desired results, finishing 13th due once again to problems with the setup.

Kevin declared: "I'm struggling a lot, I never have a feeling in the saddle, I'm always missing something compared to the others and I'm forced to chase and ride at 80%, if I push harder I risk making mistakes. I believed that after the 2023 season we would be we were just more competitive, but that's not the case, we're missing something in terms of setting. I'm not giving up, I still have 4 races available to try to demonstrate what I am, because those who know me know that that's not who I am... Now I'll have a week. break before the 8h of Suzuka, I want to concentrate and work on this race, and then prepare as much as possible for my return to MotoE in August on the Redbull ring circuit, where last year I achieved direct Q2 and fought for the first two rows I'm sure that in optimal conditions, I'm also in the game, personally I don't miss anything..."

Kevin Manfredi continues to gain points in the ranking and remains focused on the next commitments, working to improve the harmony with the Team and the bike in the next races.

Kevin thanks all the sponsors and technical partners of the 2024 season.
