BAGGER RACING EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

On the weekend of May 24-25, the Cremona Circuit will host the opening round of the Bagger Racing European Cup, a category making its debut on the European scene. As announced in Le Mans during the MotoGP Grand Prix, this class will also be introduced into the World Championship starting in 2026.

Following its resounding success in the United States in recent seasons, the Bagger category has attracted top-level international riders such as Xaux, McWilliams, Baz, Herfoss, and others.

Among the key players in this exciting new chapter is Kevin Manfredi, one of the first Italian and European riders to embrace this emerging discipline. Manfredi will take part in the opening round of the 2025 season aboard a Harley-Davidson prepared by Rubén Xaux’s team, who will also be his teammate for the event.

Kevin: “I’ve raced in many categories from the Italian Championship to Endurance, from BSB to MotoE — on bikes of all displacements. But as I’ve said in past interviews, I’ve always had a dream: to race in the Bagger class.

When the opportunity came up to do it in Italy, at the inaugural round of the Bagger Racing Europe, I didn’t think twice.

I’ll be riding with Rubén Xaux’s team, alongside a true specialist of the discipline, as well as a great Superbike and MotoGP champion. I want to thank him, Bruno Sandrini, and the SH Group for giving me this “spaceship”.

Having Rubén as a teammate is a huge advantage he’ll help me quickly adapt to the riding style and characteristics of this unique bike.

I can’t wait to hit the track for my first-ever Bagger race; I’m really curious to see how it handles.

I’ve spoken to several riders competing in the U.S., and they all describe it as an “awesome" experience. So… full throttle and let’s enjoy this new adventure!”

Manfredi will hit the track on Friday for the first free practice sessions. Saturday will feature qualifying and Race 1, while Race 2 is scheduled for Sunday.

This will be a first taste of a championship he strongly believes in one that, starting in 2026, is set to replace MotoE and become an official part of the World Championship calendar.

A spectacular and fast-growing category, with the potential to open new doors and markets in the world of motorcycle racing.

Kevin thanks all the sponsors and technical partners of the 2025 season.
